"Login failed for user 'sa'." message appears when using Ferrysoft Help Desk Administrator.
Symptoms
The message above appears when trying to connect to SQL Server from within Ferrysoft Help Desk Administrator.
If the complete message is "Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection." then refer to the following Knowledge Base article instead.
Cause
The most likely cause is that the password is wrong for the specified Server and Username.
Resolution
To resolve this, check that the Server, Username and Password are being entered correctly.
